The Sickness Unto Death

Rouen, Nice, Ansbach, Munich…

It seems like we can’t go a week without a new Muslim attack in Europe. The latest attack in Normandy is a grisly reminder of the wages of our ‘tolerance’ and respect for ‘diversity.’ After all, it is our strength, or so the clerics of our way of life tell us.

Fr. Jacques Hamel undoubtedly believed in something. In fact, he gave his life for it, and should now be recognized as a martyr by his church. His death came unprovoked while he was celebrating a Mass, attacked by representatives of the ongoing invasion of Europe.

Statements from the Vatican condemn “absurd violence” and the Archbishop of Rouen stated:

the Catholic Church can’t embrace other weapons than prayer and fraternity among men…(we must) not to give in to the violence and become apostles of the civilization of love

Hardly the Church Militant. As to the chief Pontiff, of course, he would find this violence “absurd”, he generally seems to not understand the threat coming from the Islamization of Europe. He sees the teaming multitudes, which have only brought ruin to his and other Churches as “God’s will”, it makes one wonder whose side he’s really on.

Secular authorities are no better.

When Hollande talks about “ISIS declaring war on France”, he misjudges the enemy. As it is not just the Islamic state, but Islam itself that is the enemy. As with so many of these massacres, the emerging details would be comical, if their consequences weren’t so grave.

It appears that one of the attackers was a known militant, having attempted to join the Islamic state by traveling to Syria. He was even required to wear an ankle bracelet, but did not have to be monitored between 8:30am and 12:30pm, so much for big brother!

President Obama, speaking on the Nice massacres might as well have them copypasta’ed for himself and the catlady set after today’s attack when speaking to the Muslim question:

the very suggestion … repugnant and an affront to all we stand to as Americans…we cannot give into fear or turn on each other or sacrifice our way of life… we cannot let ourselves be divided by religion because that’s exactly what the terrorists want.

Of course, that begs the question of the hour, what do our elites, religious and secular really believe? Watching response after response to these events, week after week, one can only come to one conclusion: Weakness.

It is the weakness of our leaders and the narratives they push that have made Western Europe into the sick man of the world. When our Empire of Nothing only sells shopping, or narrow hedonism, is it any surprise when the imported helots of the system revolt?

In many ways, Islam is just a weaponization of the Third World against Europeans and people of European descent. Just like in Camp of the Saints our enemies prey on us because we are weak, because we not only don’t believe in anything, but we take pride in it.

Identitarianism isn’t just some abstract term. It is a way of life for resistance, resistance to the twin religions of Liberalism and Islamism which rule over our lands. Both of them worship weakness in their own way, no matter if it’s refusing to name its enemy and fight back or preying on the elderly and children in orgies of savagery across the world.

One is reminded of the words of Dominique Venner, who in his parting words said:

It certainly will require new, spectacular, and symbolic gestures to stir our somnolence, shake our anesthetized consciousness, and awaken the memory of our origins. We are entering a time when words must be authenticated by deeds.

Today’s death should shock us, but it shouldn’t numb us.

The calls for “tolerance”, “understanding”, and “multiculturalism” are a sickness. A sickness unto death at that. These Islamic attacks and Islamism in general in our countries are merely the outer signs of that cancer that has been rotting our people for decades.

It’s time to fight because of who we are, not die because of who we’ve become.
