This came to me from a reader aus Berlin.
The name "Sarrazin" is french Hugenotte, a lot of whom emigrated to Prussia to flee religious persecution. According to french linguist Albert Dauzat, the name signified somebody who harbours "saracenic" = heretic opinions. So, that fits, doesn't it?
I, no doubt, disagree with Herr Serrazin, a social democrat and central banker, on a host of economic matters. Such disagreements become quibbles, however, in the face of mass non-European immigration and the reigning civic religion of multiculturalism.
